Thanks for COG 2018

Thanks to all your help, we raised even more than previous years: a total of around £10,000 pounds!

We’d like to offer a huge thanks to everyone who opened their gardens; it’s a mammoth task to get gardens into shape, and the day itself can be exhausting with up to 500 visitors!

A small garden with huge variety of plants and flowers

Packing a lot in

Thanks too go to all the friends and neighbours who helped before and on the day, and to all those who baked and served refreshments.

Thanks to all who came to the gardens, or just bought a programme or gave a donation.

Thanks to the generous artist who designed the flyer and programme, the printer, the venues who put up our flyers, and especially to our supportive Chorlton businesses who sold the programmes beforehand and on the day.

Finally, thanks to the lovely musicians who gave their time to play in the sun (and missed the england football game!).

Freedom from Torture and Chorlton Refugee Aid are very grateful for the money raised; it is already making a difference.
